The 8-harness folding CAMEL loom is available to check out to work on items for the conference booth. Please contact Georgean to check it out.

ANWG Conference Goodie Bag Items:
Froggie and Georgean are working on the conference Goodie Bag item – a windowed holiday card. Weaving samples can be placed in the window. If you want to help assembling the cards, please contact Georgean.
ANWG Booth Update:
Items for the booth need to be turned in on or before the May meeting. If you have the CAMEL loom with the transparency on it, please contact Rocky.
Sheep to Shawl Prep Report:
Rocky brought more roving with gauge samples for those interested in spinning. Please do not ply the yarn as Georgean has volunteered to ply it. If you are interested in helping with the spinning contact Rocky. Those who volunteered to spin at the March meeting are asked to return the spun yarn to Rocky at the April meeting. You only need to spin singles as Georgean will be plying the yarn.
4 By 4 Volunteers:
Arachne has 9 four-hour slots to fill at the Western Washington State Fair demo area. You can demonstrate any type of fiber related skill. Contact Georgean to sign up.
Table Looms:
Holly reported that the Louet W-30 is no longer being made by Louet. There are some available at internet stores but they are currently out of our price range. A motion was approved to sell one of the Rasmussen looms for $150. The looms will be offered to a current member first. We will continue to look for an 8 harness table loom that can be easily transported. Let us know if you have a personal favorite.

Jewelry from Thrums and "Weftovers"!
Our March program was presented by Robyn Spady
– a fascinating presentation on ways to create jewelry from weaving thrum and other bits and pieces of yarn. Robyn shared many of her jewelry making tricks and spent time with the members so they could do some hands-on experimenting. We will all think twice now before we toss our thrums! Thanks Robyn!
